We had a wedding catered by Tie the Knot in early September this year.

On the run up the team were fantastic, handling our queries around dietary requirements and making it so the menu didn’t need too much modification.

On the day, Nick was brilliant – he did thoughtful things such as saving us canapes (knowing we wouldn’t have had a chance!) and checking in regularly to ensure all was running smoothly. I was impressed by how the team laid the plates, maintaining the rhythm despite some of our more challenging guests…

And the food – we got so many compliments! Our guests have all said the food was some of the best they’ve received at a wedding. Although we absolutely knew it would be, we had so much fun doing the tasting, and it was genuinely difficult to choose across the different options. I also loved how flexible the chef was, asking if we’d like any edits.

All in all – a massive thank you to Nick, Jade and the team. We had the best day, and know it was absolutely not possible without you.

Balcombe Place – September 2022

We had a really specific idea in mind and Tie The Knot were absolutely the right choice to deliver that. From the off they were able to provide what we wanted, rather than only delivering fixed specific food. We had the BBQ boards and the options were so vast and delicious at our tasting it took us forever to choose. Every step of the way the team went above and beyond to help us and their service was exemplary.

Our guests loves the food, and honestly we were over the moon with it all.

The burritos made the perfect handheld evening snack and we had incredible compliments on how delicious they were.

“The best wedding food ever” – repeated quote from a lot of our guests at our wedding in April 2022. We would recommend Tie the knot for your wedding catering. The food they produced on the day was delicious and they were well organised & attentive on the day. The service was wonderful and completely seamless. Nick was helpful throughout the planning process despite being super busy with rescheduled covid weddings but he made himself available to chat on the phone when we wanted to discuss things & we really appreciated this. If I needed catering on that scale again I would have no doubt in going to Nick and his team again. I would also strongly recommend Tie the knot for any other couples looking for the right balance of good tasting food, impeccable service at an affordable price.

Balcombe Place – April 2022

We cannot thank Tie The Knot enough for our wonderful food at our wedding on 18th June. The food was INSANE, served beautifully and speedily. Everyone commented on how wonderful the food was and how helpful and friendly all the staff were. The canapés were a particular favourite (especially the braised beef brisket en croute – highly recommend!) and the evening food also went down a storm! Importantly, they kept drinks topped up throughout the meal and our reception drinks. Tie the Knot kept me up to date with everything, and were super helpful with all of my various questions and requests. I cannot thank them and recommend them highly enough.

Bartholomew Barn – June 2022

These guys were absolutely incredible, I cannot sing their praises enough!

They were incredibly helpful the day before our wedding, which is when they do the set up, and you can tell they are real perfectionists to make sure everything looks lovely for the wedding day! Even down to them spotting and sorting creases in the table cloths that I hadn’t even seen!

The service itself was like a well-oiled machine – we had a 100 person wedding so quite big, but every meal was brought out on time, with no mix-ups, and the staff made their way through the crowd quickly and quietly in a really non-invasive way.

The food itself – there are no words! A huge, huge number of out guests said they had never tasted food like it at a wedding or at restaurants for that matter. It genuinely tasted like what you’d expect to eat at a sit down meal in a very nice restaurant. Absolutely amazing considering how many people they have to cater for.

We had a lot of veggies/vegans/gluten-free guests and a couple with extremely sever allergies, and TTK were incredible accommodating every single one of them.

Could not recommend these guys highly enough.

Tie the Knot did a fantastic job catering for our wedding. Firstly the attention to detail with regards to allergies and dietary requirements was wonderful – the father of the groom has severe allergies and this was treated with the utmost consideration. The food quality was excellent, very well presented and generous portion sizes which ensured guests were satisfied until the evening food came out!

The service was very good and the staff were professional, polite and helpful (what more could you ask for). We had pizzas for the evening and these went down an absolute treat. The fact that Tie The Knot are so in demand for the wedding season is a testament to their quality and professionalism. We had the pleasure of working with Nick who made sure that every detail was correct – our day ran smoothly and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
